This week was a mixed bag for many anglers fishing for salmon in Puget Sound. There are kings rounding the corner and coming in, but success has been scattered over multiple locations and techniques.

As I mentioned in last week’s report, there is so much bait between the Strait and Sound, that these salmon are in no hurry. Let’s dig in!

Last summer on a trip to Puerto Vallarta my friend and I stayed with her aunt and uncle.  This is basically his recipe.  He served it on tostadas in a way I had never had, but was delicious.  We spread mayo on the tostada before adding the ceviche and toppings.   I swear it is incredible.  Everyone I have ever served has said so.

Sekiu (pronounced CQ) has been on fire since it opened on July 1st, 2020. My friend who went fishing with me on the opener said it was the best salmon fishing he’s ever experienced.
