I will freely admit, I’ve never done this smelt thing before, but I’m planning to head down this Wednesday to check it out. I looked at my local sporting goods store and they were completely sold out of smelt dip nets. Additionally, the articles I’ve read about the previous one-day opener indicate these nets have been rapidly sold out since the announcement.
