For some, spring is marked by the beginning of baseball season, but for many fishy folks, it’s all about ocean bottomfishing opening up!
And that time is this coming weekend, Saturday, March 9th.

Puget Sound Lingcod season marks that period in the fishing calendar where we can consistently plan to be on the water and know something will be open to angle for until things die down into the fall.

We recently got back from a trip to Sekiu in the middle of March 2021 where we fished for blackmouth and bottom fish like lingcod, cabezon, and black rockfish (sea bass).
