happy New Year it's 2025 and that means
0:08
we're getting ready for a whole big
0:11
calendar yearlong pursuit of things we
0:14
can eat and sustainably harvest fishing
0:18
hunting foraging looking forward to
0:20
doing all of it we're going to break it
0:21
down in this video month by month coming
0:24
from kind of a Puget Town p&w
0:27
perspective what what is there to do
0:30
every month of the year and we are so
0:32
blessed here in the Pacific Northwest to
0:34
be able to do do something every month
0:36
of the year it's really incredible so in
0:38
terms of what's new with me right now
0:40
I'm trying to get in the last bit of uh
0:44
water foul season and I'm trying to
0:45
teach my dog how to find truffles
0:48
another reason to be out in the woods um
0:51
but uh hopefully hopefully I'll have
0:52
content to share on that sometime soon
0:55
and she needs a lot of help I need a lot
0:57
of help so that that's ongoing try to
1:00
get out do a little bit of steel head
1:01
but we got we got this crazy like
1:04
several weeks of almost no water during
1:06
what really is historically like the
1:08
wetest time in the in western Washington
1:10
in the pnw but you know that while that
1:13
might keep some away from the river
1:15
although I was out there last week and
1:18
there was all of you were out there too
1:20
uh it it's it's it's lamented by some
1:23
but it really is an opportunity for
1:25
others if you know where to be think
1:27
about rivers that have uh controlled
1:29
releases from dams think about bigger
1:31
river systems where uh normally you'd
1:34
fish the trip but those those fish if
1:37
there's no water in the Trib they'll
1:38
they'll be at the mouth um so yeah
1:40
there's there's there's going to be
1:41
opportunities where and some in some
1:44
places you know they they're uh the
1:46
water flow is kind of steady when
1:47
there's no rain and so you'll have
1:50
you'll have a trickling in of of steel
1:52
head it'll create opportunities if you
1:53
if you know where to be so you know you
1:56
don't want to um don't want to give up
1:57
waiting for rain on steel head if you
2:00
want to go um figure it out take
2:03
advantage of it I'm noticing several
2:04
people are running over to Canada take
2:07
advantage of some excellent shnook
2:09
fishing right now up there in saltwater
2:12
the straight and uh that might look if
2:15
it's not going to rain usually mean it's
2:17
not means it's not super windy so there
2:19
might be opportunities to run across and
2:22
uh and do some fishing in Canada it's
2:24
not that complicated to do and I
2:26
actually still have my annual license
2:27
from Port Hardy in 2024 so uh if the
2:31
right window appears I'm definitely G to
2:33
going to check that out uh you know
2:36
especially you get into February and
2:38
some other species I think I think you
2:41
know don't quote me on this but I I'm
2:42
pretty sure there's some hbet lingot
2:44
opportunities as well that that show up
2:46
depending on where you are so you got to
2:48
you got to read the a whole another R
2:49
system to read but uh it could be worth
2:51
it get a crew together you know split
2:53
some gas money and go bomb out to uh
2:55
bomb out to the streets on the Canadian
2:57
side and have a blast and of course if
2:59
you can if if you can get out and do
3:00
anything you got to get out and uh and
3:02
and dig some razor clams you know
3:04
especially these super low tides near
3:05
the end of the month you know all this
3:07
calm water when the surf's not as big
3:11
right usually you get a lot more shows
3:13
and razor clams you know pretty steady
3:16
pretty easy thing to do uh I saw you
3:18
know I saw my a picture of one of my
3:20
buddies who he never makes it out to do
3:22
anything he fishes like once a year with
3:24
me and I saw him get out there getting
3:25
razor clams and so I'm like man if that
3:27
guy can get Razer clams anyone can get
3:29
razor clams shout out to Tim but January
3:31
is the end of uh most of the water foul
3:33
right duck and a lot of geese there's
3:35
still snow geese Seasons later but a lot
3:37
a lot of the waterfoul stuff ends in
3:38
January so like I said earlier I'm
3:40
hoping hoping to take advantage of that
3:42
but January January is full of
3:44
opportunities right all right now let's
3:45
talk about February again you still have
3:47
razor clams going strong in February
3:49
right that's that's kind of a staple of
3:51
the whole winter season spring season
3:53
think of the steel head season kind of
3:54
broken into you know three different
3:56
individual Seasons you got early you got
3:58
middle and you got late and and while
4:00
early kind of Peter's out mid January
4:03
the middle is just is just getting going
4:05
what am I talking about with middle
4:06
steelhead season well a lot of those
4:08
chahalis tribs have steel head returning
4:12
in that mid mid to late genan February
4:15
and going strong into March and you can
4:17
take advantage of those a lot of lot of
4:19
these Rivers they they close on March
4:21
1st so February is the month to get it
4:23
done get out there there there should be
4:25
a lot of lot of Hatchery fish you
4:27
potentially Harvest uh of course
4:29
everyone else else will be out there too
4:30
since these Rivers been closed the last
4:32
couple years so uh you know uh get get
4:35
into the flow of things be respectful
4:38
and go have blast doing that I probably
4:40
won't be doing that with you cuz uh I'm
4:43
I'm a little I'm a little crowd adverse
4:45
so but of course your late season you
4:48
know South with Washington late steel
4:50
head show up on the escapement report as
4:51
late steel head th those are all going
4:53
strong in February too so um definitely
4:56
and and then of course they peak in
4:57
March and in early April so
5:00
I I might do a little bit more of that
5:02
we'll see you know you still have the
5:03
option to bomb over to Canada you
5:05
probably you have some big game hunting
5:07
applications in western states that uh
5:10
open up in February and into March and
5:12
maybe you're looking at doing that I'm
5:14
definitely looking closer at that I've
5:15
got the hunting bug bad and uh that
5:18
probably gets my my priority these days
5:21
so I'm looking forward to that uh but
5:22
Mar but for me February is probably the
5:24
slowest month out doing Harvest
5:27
Recreation but I get a lot of uh I get a
5:29
lot more done in the in the blog website
5:32
coding side of things so it's good all
5:34
right now March is when things really
5:36
start to heat up for me some would say
5:38
your season starts in like June July I
5:40
disagree it's all about March to me
5:42
because now we've got it's all wide open
5:45
in my in my book like there's so many
5:46
things to do uh starting again with
5:48
Razer clams steel head of course and and
5:51
and non- Coastal non chalis Rivers right
5:54
you're going to have plenty of Steel out
5:55
opportunities in March um you ocean
5:58
opener for Lings are you kidding me
6:01
sometimes you get those like Bluebird
6:02
days in March and uh you get the big
6:04
Lings on the Rock piles in close and
6:06
drop you drop bait on them drop jigs on
6:09
them Lancer jigs all that stuff it's oh
6:11
man uh March ocean can be awesome also
6:15
could be like zero fishable days in
6:16
March yeah I mean you just you know you
6:17
never know it's the ocean so but uh
6:20
March man you catch those Rockfish uh
6:23
fish fry fish tacos uh pretty awesome
6:27
pretty awesome opportunities there and
6:30
then what's happening by the end of the
6:31
month of March right or maybe middle
6:33
depending on how insane you are right
6:35
what kind of uh Springer junky you are
6:37
but Columbia River Springers get going
6:39
towards the end of March for me I I
6:41
won't start fishing till the end of
6:42
March but um for some of you you're out
6:44
there in January February whenever it
6:47
opens uh should be should be a better
6:49
run this year I mean the forecast is
6:51
looking up and you know we're seeing
6:54
better ocean returns from from other
6:56
species that are usually good markers so
6:59
uh I I mean you know you never know what
7:01
if what if it's great what if it's like
7:03
limits every day in you know March and
7:05
in April and of course it'll be closed
7:06
by like April 1 then so that'll suck but
7:09
but uh Columbia River Springers you got
7:11
to do it right absolutely got to do it
7:13
and get in get the get with the
7:21
program my but holeck
7:31
get him get him get
7:33
him check in check in it's it's hatch
7:36
nice
7:40
hey and sometimes uh sometimes we get
7:43
you know lately we've been getting a
7:44
smelt season uh you know now you need a
7:48
license you like a smelt stamp or
7:49
something like that I got to dig into
7:50
that but but uh you know maybe maybe
7:53
we'll have more consistent Seasons more
7:55
enforcement to keep uh you know keep
7:57
things uh keep things going what am I
8:00
forgetting what else is in March oh yeah
8:01
fugits on black mouth Seasons right
8:04
Marine Area 11 and 10 that's a great
8:06
opportunity hopefully we have very few
8:08
sublegal some of the test fishing is
8:10
going to be trying to figure that out so
8:11
much so much to talk about with test
8:13
fishing going into 2025 some exciting
8:16
stuff but uh hopefully those Blackmouth
8:17
seasons are able to open with a lot of
8:20
legal fish around and I had a blast last
8:22
year 2024 doing it in 11 usually I do it
8:25
in 10 but uh oh man uh hopefully hope
8:29
hope it'll uh it'll continue to be
8:31
another another good season there now
8:33
we're into April and if the Columbia
8:35
river is still open this is prime time
8:37
until it closes for Columbia River
8:38
Springers now there's a few usually
8:41
great days while The Season's open and
8:43
those usually are in early April so got
8:45
to make that happen unless we get like
8:47
ridiculously crazy weather which
8:49
sometimes happens and you know goes
8:51
everywhere we still usually have razor
8:52
clam digs going on you know as long as
8:54
we don't get any of the weird toxin
8:56
stuff out there razor clam digs should
8:58
be good bottom fishing gets better and
9:01
better right you have more fishable days
9:03
I think by the end of April we usually
9:05
get some hbit openers in fugit sound
9:08
right the straight Eastern straight so
9:10
that that's exciting you know you got
9:12
your spring mushrooms that start to
9:14
flush you know your morels and uh low
9:16
elevations and things like that your uh
9:18
what do you call the raran morels uh I'm
9:21
going to spend more time this year doing
9:22
that I'm kind of a I've turned into a
9:24
mushroom junkie I can't help it I love
9:27
mushrooms uh you have still have some
9:28
blackmail Seasons potentially right if
9:31
we can squeeze into the middle of April
9:33
get some some of those uh early
9:34
returning fish back uh you know maybe in
9:37
CQ their Blackmouth season can can go a
9:39
little bit better this year that's
9:41
awesome when you can get out there and
9:43
do that and go out and do like the Nea
9:46
Bay bottom fishing cuz that'll be open
9:48
like oh yeah it's just April is a great
9:51
great time of the year and of course on
9:52
the hunting front we have spring turkey
9:55
gobble gobble right I turkey added from
9:59
the first time in 2024 and uh I didn't
10:03
shoot anything but I was I got hooked so
10:06
I got more extreme plans to get a turkey
10:09
I just I I want to I want to get a
10:11
turkey so bad like I can't even I can't
10:13
even express how bad I want to get a
10:14
turkey in 20125 so definitely got to
10:17
devote some time to that I mean we don't
10:19
got time for anything else right except
10:21
we do because uh even when the Columbia
10:23
River closes we are the tributaries of
10:26
the Columbia they start getting their
10:27
Springers to show up and
10:30
it's Springer Mania for the next few
10:31
months after that now we're into May oh
10:35
oh my goodness petown Lings for you
10:37
petown lingers I don't really take a lot
10:39
of part in that but for for a lot of you
10:42
pretty exciting out there in possession
10:43
or wherever you like to drop on those
10:46
Lings I won't I won't tell talk about
10:47
your secret secret spots in different
10:50
parts of pet town the only place for
10:52
link hod is on possession okay nowhere
10:54
else everyone needs to be on possession
10:56
I won't be but you should definitely you
10:58
should definitely be out there
11:00
spot shrimp may miday spot shrimp opener
11:03
oh my goodness pwn Hood
11:06
Canal H Straits San Juan San Juans we
11:10
get San wans in May a lot of times we
11:11
get San wans in May uh definitely in
11:13
June but I I'm spot shrimp is my uh I
11:19
need more spot shrimp in my life and in
11:21
my freezer and uh yeah spot shrimp is is
11:25
is awesome of course we've got more
11:26
bottom fish going on halit now in the
11:28
ocean
11:29
right get out bomb out there and three
11:32
and four and out of Westport get those
11:35
big big halit that's awesome of course
11:37
there's more spring mushrooms tributary
11:40
Springers now are starting to like
11:42
really ramp up I mean May is a great
11:43
time in some uh some Rivers for for
11:45
Springers if we get decent numbers
11:47
decent runs now we're into June what's
11:49
going on in June well we've got pet Town
11:53
salmon summer salmon get started right
11:56
we get the we get the the resident
11:57
co-host season that gets going got to
11:59
get out there and do that like once you
12:00
know at least or maybe every day I don't
12:02
know uh depending on how good it is and
12:04
and uh you know I just I feel like it's
12:06
a tradition you got to get out there and
12:08
and knock a few fij Town resi Coos uh
12:11
they got that dark red meat so good just
12:14
a just to get things started there's
12:17
more spot shrimp I mean my calendar in
12:18
June is monopolized by spot shrimp it's
12:20
like all right where's the shrimp
12:21
openers that's where I'm going to be
12:23
everything else secondary bottom fishing
12:25
and hbit is still going really strong
12:28
sometimes this is some of the best
12:29
opportunity in the ocean places like Nia
12:32
Bay get out there and uh and get the
12:34
halit get your halit get you know this
12:37
kind of the end of like the closer in
12:39
you know this is for Lings but certainly
12:42
you get the deep water Lings are still
12:44
still viable but uh yeah this is this is
12:46
you know this is the season in June and
12:48
now as you're getting towards the end of
12:51
June you get the ocean openers right we
12:54
still have to go through the north of
12:56
Falcon get all our Seasons argue about
12:58
quotas and see which way way we're
13:01
getting screwed and all that all that
13:02
stuff but June right you get those ocean
13:05
openers I love to be out there uh that
13:08
that that and take part in that and some
13:10
some Marine area that uh you know get
13:13
get in early on that some years there's
13:15
a lot of fish around close sometimes you
13:17
got to go further out and we're waiting
13:18
for them to come down so we'll see every
13:21
every Year's every Year's a different
13:23
every Year's a little different right
13:24
now we're talking July July is go time
13:28
right the weather on July 5th starts
13:31
being really good uh you get crabbing
13:33
open right now we got summertime
13:35
crabbing shinook fishing and Puget swn
13:38
and you know the straight and ocean all
13:42
that stuff is outstanding 2025 it's an
13:45
odd year that means there's pink salmon
13:47
that are going to be out there swimming
13:49
around you know we all get we get all
13:51
excited about the pink salmon some of
13:53
you salmon snobs out there you know
13:54
start start badmouthing all the people
13:56
who like to catch and eat pink salmon so
13:59
you know that's this all part of the odd
14:01
year experience bottom fishing is
14:02
definitely slowing down you can still
14:04
get it done in a number of places out in
14:07
the ocean ocean salmon should be on fire
14:10
right hopefully the oceans we had a lot
14:12
of bad ocean days in July 2024 hopefully
14:16
we get some more fishable days early on
14:18
get people out there consistently
14:20
finding the shnook get those deep water
14:23
shnook out there you know and uh out of
14:25
Westport that's that's a blast and and
14:27
somewhere you get time to like uh Scout
14:29
for some fall hunting too right and do
14:31
some planning there and some prep I
14:33
don't know you know it's uh it's July
14:35
and and that's just a couple months
14:37
around the corner so too many things to
14:39
do in July uh you can you can fish every
14:41
day in July usually and uh and have
14:43
something so oh my goodness August
14:46
August is my is my August September and
14:49
October are my favorite so here we go
14:50
we're in August and things are things
14:53
are on fire things are heating up right
14:56
Columbia River buoy 10 opens I didn't I
14:59
didn't do that last year I did it the
15:00
year before but that's something I'm
15:02
looking forward to getting in on again
15:03
and planning that as a yearly fixture in
15:06
my schedule without all the other
15:07
thousand boats and crazy people out
15:09
there crabbing is still going strong
15:11
right we got shnook streaming into the
15:13
river by the middle of the month right
15:15
so a lot of these lot of these um rivers
15:17
that get shnook in August will start to
15:19
start to start to um provide fishing
15:22
opportunities
15:23
there pink salmon in the pits down will
15:27
be everywhere right you won't be able to
15:29
keep them off your off your hook right
15:31
you'll try to you catch a lot of shnook
15:33
in August if their Seasons hold up if if
15:35
you know Central sound if stuff is still
15:37
open 10 11 if you can get through the
15:40
pink salmon right because they'll just
15:42
be they they'll just be everywhere if we
15:43
have good pink returns which I hope I
15:45
really hope we do we'll figure that out
15:47
next month or so now and now you'll
15:48
start catching more coo too if you can
15:50
get through the pinks you can get
15:51
through the schnook there'll be coo and
15:52
different parts as well different you
15:54
know uh near the surface and deeper
15:56
water you'll find those
16:11
you're finding time to Scout and prepare
16:12
for hunting season though right I mean
16:14
that that's the thing right you're still
16:16
finding time to do that Ocean salmon
16:18
should be winding down if it's still
16:20
open though if you get out Westport in
16:22
August I mean uh that is exceptional
16:25
hogus or fogus or whatever you want to
16:27
call it you know nice if you've got
16:29
radar on your boat cuz uh you might need
16:31
it some days those C logest Days full of
16:34
fog we get out there at the 300t line
16:36
start putting the whipping on some big
16:39
big shnook U can be incredible Love
16:42
August that's it right there that's what
16:45
we came for now we're into September and
16:48
shinook fishing in the rivers is insane
16:51
right all these shinook coming into the
16:53
rivers providing exceptional
16:56
opportunities bobber Downs let's go my
16:59
favorite the shnook bite in the rivers
17:01
is is is just one of my absolute
17:03
favorites also you have all these pinks
17:05
in the river as well right actually end
17:07
of August throughout September he got to
17:10
do the P up right get in there the the
17:13
the the line of flossers and catch a few
17:15
pinks coo in the sound is now going
17:18
insane right you're going to have coo Co
17:20
late the last few years has been
17:22
outstanding and hopefully 2025 is no
17:24
exception to that but but typically when
17:26
you get a September Co you get like
17:29
you know three weeks sometimes four just
17:32
strong co- fishing in all the usual
17:34
spots throughout Central north south
17:37
it's going nuts uh the pinks will be a
17:40
little get a little squirly a little
17:41
stale in in pet down you'll still be
17:44
able to get them but uh the COO should
17:45
be should be Primo throughout September
17:48
of course with September right you get
17:50
those archery Seasons opening up on El
17:53
and deer right you get muzzle loader
17:55
deer you have your big game stuff you
17:58
all whenever you get rain you'll have
18:00
coo flushing into the rivers right
18:03
whenever it rains and you'll have all
18:05
your fall mushrooms starting to show up
18:07
after every rain so I September is like
18:10
it's it's Prime it's Primo but it's not
18:12
as good as what's coming next and that's
18:14
right what's next October the p&w best
18:18
life Super Bowl of months is October
18:22
it's all going on I need like two or
18:23
three of me in October I'm I'm getting
18:26
excited just just thinking about October
18:27
and everything that's available right I
18:29
mean whether you want to do razor clams
18:32
or winter crabbing or you'll even be
18:33
able to get some squid in October right
18:35
that's just some uh for forging like all
18:38
your mushrooms your mushrooms we go I
18:40
mean we're talking chant TRS uh King
18:43
King Boletus lobsters everything will be
18:46
going crazy in
18:49
October and and of course we talk about
18:51
salmon you'll have in some Rivers
18:53
throughout the month of October you'll
18:55
get you'll still have shnook you'll get
18:58
uh your in will be petering out your coo
19:01
will be coming in on every rain and
19:03
you'll get by the end of it you'll have
19:04
Chums so you can catch four species of
19:06
salmon in in in in the rivers in the
19:08
month of October it's absolutely awesome
19:10
your saltwater fishing definitely will
19:12
be winding down um you know you're you
19:15
still might be a few coo out there coo
19:17
out there you could do some saltwater
19:19
Chum fishing in October but definitely
19:21
slowing down but now you have your your
19:23
modern fire firearm seasons for for deer
19:26
you you've got water foul opening up
19:28
again and you got duck opening day are
19:30
you kidding me duck Camp let's go right
19:32
I mean I mean October is the month right
19:36
just just cancel all your projects make
19:39
block your calendar take the month off
19:41
like let's go there's something to do
19:43
fill the freezer in the month of October
19:46
it's happening and now we're in November
19:48
right things start to calm down a little
19:49
bit but November is still outstanding
19:51
right your mushrooms are still going
19:53
your Chum fishing is off the hook um
19:56
saltwater definitely definitely slowing
19:58
down but you still have a reason you got
19:59
a boat right you go out there you catch
20:01
squid winter crab uh you know you you
20:05
can go out to the coast and Razer clam
20:06
usually got good digs in November so
20:09
many things to do if you drew uh tags in
20:13
other Western States you know this when
20:15
my buddies are all like oh we're going
20:16
to Montana and I'm like Hey where's my
20:18
invite you know okay uh I guess you know
20:20
I got to do my own leg work there so you
20:23
know I'm going to be applying to some
20:24
hopefully do some hunting in Montana and
20:26
maybe some other Western States 202 5 so
20:30
uh you know you have so many things
20:32
going on you've got uh you know modern
20:35
firearm elk in the state of Washington
20:37
in November you got the late uh late
20:39
Buck seasons in for modern firearm
20:42
November you got the late archery Lo
20:43
late muzzle loor Seasons getting going
20:46
so you just have so much going on in
20:48
November not as crazy as October but
20:51
still just full pack full of fun
20:53
opportunities waterfoul you know it a
20:56
lot of it's depending on the weather do
20:58
the to more ducks and geese come down um
21:01
than than came down last year we'll see
21:03
right like that that's an opportunity to
21:05
to do as well and here we are at the end
21:06
of the year great year it's been a great
21:08
year in 2025 right so finish it up a lot
21:12
of how we started in in January when we
21:15
first start talking about more waterf
21:16
foul opportunities in December hopefully
21:19
big game hunting seasons are ending you
21:21
know some of us are uh are uh you know
21:23
we're we're frying up our our our our
21:26
tag soup and uh you know salmon in the
21:29
rivers those are kind of petering out
21:31
there's still a few coo in different
21:32
places but things are slowing
21:34
down razor clams still going strong
21:37
squid probably uh you know on fire in
21:40
December you know uh should be a blast
21:43
and then and of course you got to finish
21:44
up with the thing that kind of starts it
21:47
all off is you got steel head you got
21:48
your steel head opportunities happening
21:51
in December and those early steel head
21:53
coming coming into rivers throughout
21:55
throughout the states and and uh you
21:57
know and and here we are again back to
22:00
back to January 2026 so uh yeah
22:03
hopefully if um what what season are you
22:05
most looking forward to in 2025 what are
22:07
you what are you going to do differently
22:09
right and what are you going to learn
22:11
what are you going to take on um what
22:13
are you most excited about is there
22:15
something I missed on here drop in the
22:17
comments love to love to chat about that
22:20
there's you're going to want to be
22:22
dialed in because I'm going to to the
22:23
channel here because as north of Falcon
22:25
gets going I'm definitely going to put a
22:27
lot of content out about what's going on
22:29
with our salmon Seasons the things going
22:31
on in that space you know we've got this
22:34
um commissioner uh wfw commissioner
22:37
reform thing going on in the legislature
22:40
right now that's a big deal definitely
22:41
be paying attention to that if you're
22:43
someone who who likes to hunt and fish
22:46
cuz uh what's going on is a is a big
22:48
deal you know with the ruckle house
22:50
report and all that so um you know we
22:54
maybe we'll do something on that we'll
22:55
talk about that here soon for me I'm
22:57
probably most excited about uh getting
23:00
into the crack at hunting seasons doing
23:02
more big game hunting in 2025 I
23:05
definitely have the bug pretty bad uh
23:07
you'll probably see more of that kind of
23:08
content uh hopefully I mean turkey uh
23:12
turkey I'm really excited about uh spot
23:15
shrimp always love spot shrimp last year
23:17
I did more spot shrimp camping in some
23:20
places and that was just that was Primo
23:22
I mean that was the best way to do it I
23:24
hope we get more backto back spot shrimp
23:27
openers right right rather than like
23:29
those one day open on Thursday and then
23:32
next on Saturday I hope we go like
23:34
Thursday Friday or Friday Saturday for
23:35
your weekenders um and uh get an
23:38
opportunity to just kind of you know
23:40
maybe Mo the boat somewhere camp out
23:42
what whatever right stay in stay in a
23:44
nicer place and uh and do that back
23:46
toback days I think um pink I mean
23:50
petown you know ocean I just love salmon
23:54
you know some people don't like to to
23:57
troll for salmon but I
23:58
man I love I love trolling around for
24:00
salmon not especially when there's so
24:02
many species and numbers swimming around
24:04
you're not sure what you're going to get
24:06
down clip pops like I'm I'm legitimately
24:08
excited to do that um and uh of course I
24:13
I mean for me my absolute favorite is
24:15
going to the rivers and throwing
24:17
throwing Bobbers throwing Spinners and
24:20
getting those aggressive takes from
24:21
salmon in there too what's what's your
24:23
favorite though what are you most
24:24
looking forward to um hopefully you can
24:26
do a lot of it in 2025
24:29
you know uh this is the this is the
24:31
season this is the this is the offseason
24:33
this is the slow season right this is
24:35
when if you really want to have a great
24:37
2025 this is when you want to be buying
24:40
your tackle right buying your gear
24:42
buying your bait looking at okay what am
24:44
I going to need to to do to be
24:45
successful this year and this season or
24:47
what am I going to research what am I
24:48
going to learn about and uh and plan for
24:51
uh all a lot of times the stuff that we
24:53
do requires so much detailed planning
24:57
you don't want to save it till to last
24:58
minute and uh so you get a jump on it
25:01
you know take care of it this month U
25:03
February hope to see you out there 2025
25:06
hope the a lot of you uh come say hi
25:09
while I'm out there I really appreciate
25:10
that learning uh learning who you are
25:12
meeting you and uh hopefully have a
25:15
little bit more of that more more time
25:17
dedicated effort on that some Community
25:20
opportunities right where we can meet up
25:22
and do stuff um definitely excited about
25:24
that maybe maybe especially during north
25:25
of Falcon I will be at the Sportsman
25:27
Show at the PE Fair uh one of the wfw
25:31
booths because I'm one of the um one one
25:34
of the Committees there regarding our um
25:37
hit town enhancement fund always looking
25:41
I'm always looking to get involved more
25:42
and advocate for our our sport fishing
25:45
opportunities advocate for our the
25:47
sustainable you know sustainability of
25:50
these of these species we love to chase
25:51
so come say hi to me there uh I think
25:54
I'm going to be there the first day of
25:57
of the fair of the of the Sportsman Show
25:59
so uh working a shift in uh around the
26:02
opening so um yeah good luck have a
26:05
great year happy New Year again and
26:07
hopefully lots of lots of good stuff
26:09
you'll be interested in on p&w best life
26:12
in 2025
