So we decided to take our wives fishing in Sekiu, WA for 3 days. This is day 2 of the adventure. As many of you know, the regulations after July 4th switched to Marine Area 5 (around Sekiu) only being open every other day for salmon, so we headed west to Marine Area 4 and eventually even Marine Area 3 where you could fish for salmon and bottomfish. We started our adventure near Tatoosh Island with calm seas and the sun trying to break through. This trip was all about the experience as we wanted to show the special ladies in our life a great time fishing. We had a relaxed trip that also included a tackle box charcuterie board and wine!
